About MsTelah

MsTelah is a Wisconsin native and currently lives in Atlanta, GA.  She is the author of Role Mother: One Mom's Journey to Parenting.  MsTelah holds a Master's in Social Work from Wayne State University.  She also holds a Bachelor's in Education from The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. MsTelah has 20+ years of experience in Human Service and Social Work respectively. She is in her final year of her Doctoral journey at Grand Canyon University.

MsTelah's career experience includes:  

  • Community Service Center Director and Social Worker for Covenant House in Michigan
  • Domestic Shelter Director for Detroit's Interim House Domestic Violence Shelter·  Program Evaluation Manager for the state of Wisconsin Bureau of Miwaukee Child Welfare
  • Behavior Specialist, Social Worker, and Admission's Program Coordinator for a non-profit in Georgia that services to individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities.  

MsTelah considers her most important and enjoyable experience, to date, is being a mom to her son, Micah.  She loves managing her son's entertainment career.  MsTelah also enjoys spending her spare time watching basketball, reading, and going on out-of-town trips with friends and family. She also loves volunteering and giving her time to those that are less fortunate. Having a strong belief in her faith, MsTelah understands that none of her accomplishments would be possible without God.  MsTelah believes her true calling is to share what she knows with other moms, along with providing life changing resources, that would make their lives less complicated.
